Otto von Guericke (1602 - 1686)

Magdeburg it´s an almost 1200-old town in the state Sachsen-Anhalt. In the 17th century, the century of  "Aufbruchs in die Neuzeit", lived and worked the patrician Otto von Guericke in Magdeburg. His person is until today inextricably linked with this town.
